Place Your Bets...

I know, I know. I haven't updated in days. I suck. I'd originally figured to have my Part Two commentary on "Soul Purpose" up the day after the first one, but life had other plans - this is, incidentally, my last full week, full-time, at work, after which I'll be a footloose and fancy-free freelancer. So yay for me, yay for downtime, yay for working from home in the near future... but boo-hiss for the having to get actual work done in the meantime. Especially when there's so much mental wood I could be burning on these very important topics. Darn it.

I also (ahem) got a bit distracted by threads on the LJs of rahirah and onetwomany, about how Spike has been portrayed on Angel this year. There are a lot of different opinions on this subject, and hopefully I didn't make too much of an ass of myself in posting mine (hides head under coat), but I've got enough to say on this particular topic that I figured I might as well spin it off to my own little corner of the LJ. Eventually. Something else I figured I'd have done this week. Sigh. Another for the "coming soon" pile.

Anyway, thanks to all who've sent me comments - it really does make me write faster, I've found. (So sue me, I'm all flattered and stuff. Aw.)
