I agree about Spike: AtF. So far, it's streets ahead of the Angel book.
Also, our Olympics commentary here was pretty Brit-biased, so it's not just the US that does that. In fact, I think all countries probably do it. You should have heard the man doing the commentary at the rowing! Cringeworthy.
We did have the benefit of Michael Johnson again, though. He's wonderful, and it's so nice of him to pretend (or even to genuinely) take an interest in our (mostly) mediocre field and track athletes.
I managed to miss the closing ceremony, and am very glad of it.
