As you know, I'm partial to Wood where you are not, but First!Wood is an asshole supreme. Anybody who repeatedly calls our girl "Fluffy" deserves...well, a lot more than he's been given thus far, in my opinion. If he is a First version, that is. Perhaps he's more?

Buffy's work shoes squeaking on the school floor is a beautifully evocative detail. So sad and somehow precious. There are lots of little touches like that, and your dialogue is, as always, a delight. I do love what you're doing with this.
