Wow. I couldn't possibly have predicted this turn of events. I'm riveted. I still can't figure out what Spike's deal is, and the problem of mismatched time streams makes everything even more enigmatic. Those thorn bushes--the quintessential symbol of Spike and Buffy's relationsip, IMO. A reprieve in some ways, but full of unpleasant consequences and prickliness, complete with Buffy on top and clueless. I love the details.

I can't wait for the next installment. Hurry before I turn into the Great Pumpkin.
