Yeah, that's where it all gets a bit too downbeat for me. I'd feel a lot better about Angel launching a kamikaze mission to bring down some minor offshoot of the evil empire - and a rather slow-moving one at that, since we're told they aren't even going to run Hillary ClintonSenator Brucker for President until 2008! - if he hadn't given up on being a role model in the process. Having committed himself to living "as though the world was what it should be, to show it what it can be," I wonder how Angel could face Connor now that he's betrayed that purpose merely to defeat "evil with a small e"...
