It is probably just me being phobic - I've been to Star Trek cons (yes, me geek), and seen Patrick Stewart, George Takei, etc., and not come away with any major mental trauma, but... I dunno. Then again, I was not pleased to discover that I'm about the same height as the Incredible Hulk, so I'll always carry that scar.
