This was obviously my idea of a comedy chapter. Big revelations via internal stand-up comic routine. And yeah, in case you're curious, I did indeed have little animated dancing eggs in mind. : )
And I believe very firmly that you never feel more aware of your own physicality than when you're throwing up. Every sense is engaged. Not in a good way, sure, but engaged. (And I do have funny throw-up stories, but none that I probably should share here, so as to not make people too sick - they're only sort of funny in retrospect. Kind of like this chapter, I guess.)
