There's probably symbolism up the wazoo in that dream, but I'm way too thickheaded to figure it out.
I actually doubt it - I only really do symbolism in a very surface-y way. It's all right there in either the visuals or the dialogue. The Latin is the only cheat, and that's still very basic, open to interpretation.
Much too worried that the other would see their true selves to ever really know each other.
(nods) The whole of the dream is about Buffy's perception of the other two. (I hope it's not too spoilery of me to say this?)
