Thanks so much for the reminder of pleasures current (the wonderful fanfic of MissMurchison and Nautibitz) and long past (the "Talking Julia Doll", which I had to save up my allowance for MONTHS to buy, and then had to drag my Mom to several different stores in our Jamaica, Queens neighborhood in order to find one that carried it, when I was a little white girl living in New York in the early 70's!).
