Thank you! I couldn't help but feel that, having turned Spike back into an actual villain in a way that many viewers were never able to get over in "Seeing Red," that the show should've acknowledged this directly by having him be scary. I mean seriously, the beating heart of this show was originally horror tropes -- why not deal with that, and then turn it upside down?
Plus, I confess... I needed to see him interact with Dawn more. That relationship was never resolved to my satisfaction, and there was so much story potential there.
