I hope you're still working on this and there's more to come (it's been a gap of a year, so I won't hold my breath, but...) I hope there is more because this is better than what we got. LOVE the S3 callbacks and Dawn seeing a younger Buffy.
And yes to touching on xander's insecurities about work. That was another screw up - we went from Xander digging in Pangs to him getting a promotion to foreman (and master carpenter, apparently?) with very little in between. Workplace situations would have been the natural place for the show to go once it dropped high school and college, but except for Doublemeat Palace...eh, never mind.
