Wow, Internet Explorer Sucks

Okay, maybe I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer to only just be noticing this, but I've finally realized how many of the browser problems I'd been having with various people's websites and LJs are because of various bugs and limitations of Internet Explorer. For example, IE wouldn't let me update to the limit of characters LJ allows for the latest chapter of our story (ab. 65,000, we only had 35,000). Apple's Safari, no problem. Some of the fancier layouts in people's journals looked all screwy in the comments section in IE. They look fine in Safari. Plus I can see backgrounds that IE either screws up or doesn't show. I'm switching browsers as soon as I can figure out how to import all my bookmarks.
