My Head Hurts
Apr. 2nd, 2005 09:50 amThere is surrealness going on in the world of LJ. Like, if I look at my friends' list, I see new entries for my friends. If I go to their own journals, though, I can't see them. Weeeird.
I found this out by way of trying to track back a couple of recs. ( Couple of Quick Fic Recs )
Working on another one of my odd ghost headaches - not quite there all the time, there enough to remind me it could be a major issue if I play my brain chemstry wrong. Check, be very careful regulating caffeine intake and water balance. Drugs, you ask? Ha, whispers my subtly pulsing gray matter. You're losing it if you think you can supress me with drugs. Good luck! At best, you'll just make yourself dazed and woozy. Enjoy the disorientation - think of it as one of those Great Plains electrical storms like you saw driving out to California when you moved here. Got that? Nature, bitch! Careful tiptoeing around eyestrain and some healthy exercise are probably the way to go here.
... which is frustrating, because I have this big writing monkey on me right now. I have the end, the I really mean it this time end, of my William story more than three-fourths done, but given the way that story is going to end up lining up with "Does It Have to Mean Something?" (as a prequel) I feel like I should work on that one a bit first to avoid overlap. Needless to say, if I'd had the brains not to do all these as WIPs, I wouldn't be in this situation, but then I probably wouldn't have done any of this at all. (throws up hands)
Battlestar Galactica last night was awesome. Nothing much more coherent to add on that one. And now we have to wait until July? That's just... wrong.
