Night of the Living Email
May. 2nd, 2005 10:04 pmWell, hotmail is down, down, down. So down that if anyone's emailed me recently, or replied to my journal or a reply I've put in theirs for awhile, chances are good I haven't gotten it. Which I guess was the push I needed to swich my loyalties over to gmail, so I should be back up and running as of now. Huzzah!
Thanks to everyone for the kind birthday wishes - it was indeed a fun day, monster headache notwithstanding. Picked up some ace swag -
monkey_junkey and
akai_suisen, you guys might be particularly interested in this. ( Swag! )
I absolutely owe lots of comments to everybody on the Giles thread I started in talking about "Tabula Rasa" - really, I haven't forgotten, just been insanely exhausted and busy - and more thoughts to share about some stuff Toys and I have been talking about, namely ghosts and haunted houses, and a brilliant Japanese film we saw together the other night, Takashi Miike's Izo. Damned if that wasn't the most challenging, insightful thing I've seen done recently, gory and messy and amazing and vivid. More to come on this when my brain starts working again. Any moment now.
Otherwise, I'm mostly avoiding most of my flist. I still haven't seen "Dalek" or Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, so I can't read anyone's cut-tags! Weep!
