Damn but I had some good musical choices come up on the old playlist today. Segues you wouldn't think of, but just feel right - Pizzicato Five into The Slits, Queen into teh Idol. Seriously, "One Vision" followed by "Dancing with Myself" is a truly weird, yet worthwhile experience.
Anyway, my photo class is over now - last day was today. Which turned out to be a more uplifting experience than I expected - I've been rather seriously depressed pretty much all this week and last week working on The Final Project all while knowing we weren't going to have enough money to send me back next semester. But the Project went over all right in class (I got through the ten or so hours of necessary lab time to get it done on a combination of more Pizzicato Five - soothing working-on-the-computuer music for some reason, don't know why - and Cypress Hill, dig that combo), and I'm feeling more inspired than I expected to be to continue on with my own portfolio-building work now that it's over.
Meanwhile, just to remind myself of some of the stuff I've seen, and because art is there to be appreciated... some pictures. ( Not my stuff, but better - cool photo links for inspiration )
In other news, LJ really has been hopping over the last few days, hasn't it? I really want to collect my thoughts and put up a bunch of posts on any number of topics... but not today. The weather's being good, finally - no dreary coastal fog today! - so I'm going to arm-twist Toys when he gets back from his run to take me out in the sunshine. And I think it's finally time to start thinking about that camping trip I had the impulse to take again. Back to nature. I think I need a good dose of nature.
