More Katch-Up
Nov. 17th, 2005 03:22 pmIt's a meme I've seen here and there. Top Five TV shows right now in Casa de Hook and Toys:
1. Nip/Tuck
2. Criss Angel: Mindfreak
3. Untold Stories of the ER
4. Power Rangers SPD
5. Drawn Together
Left off this list, and slugging it out for the rest of the top ten would be South Park, Smallville, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law, Animal Planet's Most Extreme, and possibly, Medium. Night Stalker, I was sad to hear, is being canceled, and I had been enjoying that show, even though the last couple of episodes were pretty slow, because if nothing else, I liked the characters, and it was perhaps the most beautifully photographed show I've seen in a long time.
Criss Angel is now Toys's hero. I think the South Park creators are becoming mine. Fearless, I tell you. Not always spot-on, but fearless. This is what Scientologists truly believe. Dude.
Sad stuff: RIP, Eddie Guerrero. At 38, of heart failure. The WWE official site has tributes up, including a video. Atheletes' deaths are always sad, probaby because damn, they seem so healthy, but this one's really tragic. Wife and three kids. A real rising star. So sad. Sleep well, Latino Heat.
