Four words: Flat. On. My. Back. Yes, it went out again. I haven't seen a chiropractor in ages, because I'd been doing so well, but... gah. Apparently, those regular multi-mile walks I haven't had time in my schedule for lately were indeed the only thing keeping me from falling apart. Duly noted.
At any rate, I'm confined to the living room futon sofa, in pain, unable to do much more than watch TV and surf and rotate ice packs. Standing and walking involve significant effort, scary faces and groaning, bending is out of the question. And this has come at the absolute worst time, as I'm currently supposed to be flying around like a mad thing doing work projects that are all due now now now or, at best case, within the next two months. I really don't have time for this. Back pain sucks.
And to top it off, I had to cancel my hair appointment for today. I need a cut and color so bad it's not funny. My next available time for appointment - in two weeks. Two weeks! The roots, they're already scary. In two weeks? Brrrr..
Well, at least I'll get some writing done. It's about all I can do.
