Choose Love

So A&E is a playing a Queer Eye For the Straight Guy marathon today, and it's the season I mostly haven't seen, which is all weddings - the Fab Five do your wedding. And I swear, you'll never get a stronger testament to how cruel and sad it is that opposition to gay marriage is considered such a political grandstanding issue right now. Those five men get teary-eyed over every single aspect of the wedding process, the huge loving statement in all that ceremony.

ETA: God, but why oh why are so many people's houses in these things so messy and blank? I can't get over all those expanses of white wall, with no bookcases or artwork. Why?? Don't these people ever look up? Or down, for that matter, considering the floors in these places? (shakes head)
