Lazy Day, But Still With the Buffy Talk
Mar. 11th, 2007 02:41 pmThe weather is so nice today, it's making me sleepy. Toys and I are frumping around in our jammas because hey! Lazy Sunday. Relaxing gooood.
In other news, there are many, many ways in which I am still trying to get the friggin' hang of how LiveJournal works - I've yet to figure out, for example, how to delete a tag I got wrong and retag an entry with something new (this also irritates me in the Memories feature, only not quite so much - why are these things so resistant to editing, and what am I doing wrong?!?), but today at least I figured out how to reorder the items in my sidebar and change the tags to list mode - go, me!
Yesterday's 10-year anniversary of BtVS made me happy, because everyone was posting cool stuff about Buffy, and of course I had the impulse to write some kind of what Buffy the Vampire Slayer means to me post, but the more I thought about it, it wasn't so much what Buffy, the story, meant to me that was unique as much as what Buffy, the series, it taught me. Okay, now I've got to get back to writing fic. I signed up for two ficathons this spring, and I've just gotta clear the decks of my outstanding WIPs.
