Live From Palm Springs
May. 1st, 2007 09:11 am(Retyping all of this from memory, because LJ just ate the whole of a very large draft. Ugh, *kicks LJ*)
Thanks so much for all the wonderful birthday wishes on my friendslist yesterday! It put a big smile on my face for the whole day, which was especially needed since I mostly lost custody of Toys to my three-year old niece. She's currently deep in the "princess" mania, and has decided that Toys is "her prince." This took on a plaintive yet hilarious note after dinner at a seafood restaurant called the Fisherman's Market, when Toys went to the bathroom and she started to wonder where he was, calling out "where's my prinnnnce?" to all the passersby on the sidewalk. (And I have to admit, they made a pretty cute couple.)
And on that note, more birthday wishes!
I hope you had the bestest and happiest of days, and a great year ahead!
( Goodies, and Blather About Palm Springs )
And now, off to breakfast. More adventures to come! (gathers you all in for a big hug)
