tkp. Up to chapter 3 now. Fantastic, post-NFA with Angel, Spike, Illyria, Nina, and sometimes Faith. And a dog. God, it's just so good. Wonderful portraits of everyone, interactions to die for. Check it out; you really must.
High bygirlpire. Another post-NFA snarkfest, and damn if this one didn't hit every sweet spot I have for building character conflict around the monster-of-the-week. Gorgeously funny, snappy writing, and it really made me miss some of the loopier twists you could get on on that show. And in hindsight, it all makes perfect sense.
Departure byonly_passenger. Angel/Dawn. Not something I would've ever pictured, but in the type of future painted here, it makes an eerie sort of sense. Notable especially for being a fic about Dawn as Buffy's sister in a way that spills over into her sexuality - that made me sit up and take notice. Fantastic writing, very adult.
