Yes, Xander was actually kind of creepy at times in Season Six, with the Buffystuff.
Yeah, kinda big with the stalking. But I figure once Spike moves in to stay, Xander realizes that Buffy already has a Samwise to her Frodo...
I think "He's mine" works here. I just threw in the other stuff because I was having a stream of consciousness moment. But Xander is hers in a way no one else is, of course.
