in both S7 of Buffy and S5 of Angel the misogyny becomes so transparent. It makes me vomit. Pregnancy is evil and women are vessels for genderless though physically female godheads. As I said: show about masculinity, therefore, women are props. Have they ever been anything else for hero-types?
