The interesting thing about "Normal Again" is that it came on the heels of a couple of seasons where a lot of the villains and the heroes/love interests were either insane, or involved in the mental health field - Glory and her victims being examples of the former, Ben and Riley and Maggie Walsh the latter. One could probably come up with an asylum-based explanation for a lot of Buffy's post-high school career...
