Woo-hoo! Finally updated JustStakeMe! with Zerographic's icons and a link to this journal. But the big news is, I also got enough of an html lesson tonight to post them here. Enjoy! (If you grab these, make sure to give proper credit to Zerographic.)

Whoops, did I forget to mention that by "update" I meant, "not any new text yet, just the icons and stuff"?

But, ah, I'll have something new up this morning, so strike that anyway. I'm being productive this weekend, dammit, productive!

I enjoyed your "Never Leave Me" exposition. Re: the title - I can't help but feel that the title is telling us something that Buffy is incapable of telling Spike(us) herself. She has always seemed unable to say exactly what she thought or desired until the moment of crisis is at hand. She has the unique ability to inspire or say the right thing just when you despair of her saying anything warm or caring again.

But it a real failing that the show needed to turn to a title in order to enlighten us more to Buffy's state of mind. If SMG's frozen face were allowed to crack a bit more we might actually be able to read the emotion lurking (we hope) beneath the surface.
