Your Favorite Fred

You know, reading through everyone's comments on "A Hole in the World" made me want to remember the good times. So I send out the call - what's your favorite Fred moment?

For me, I think it would have to be the revelation that she was a pothead in college under that age-reversion spell. The giggling, and her pulling on sleeves asking, "do you have any weed?" Priceless.

I vote for the Season Four episode where they first introduced Lightning Lass, in which the Angel gang have to cook up an elaborate scheme to break into a vault and steal some magic McGuffin. Fred, as the designated know-it-all, has prepared a fancy briefing with charts and diagrams, but it turns out the poor girl can't draw for beans. She produces some hideous scribble of the magical chalice or whatever, whereupon Angel, slouching in the back row, holds up his own perfect artist's impression and says "You mean like this?" And poor Fred's face just crumples.

I think that may have been the first time they demonstrated there was something that Fred couldn't do. And for some reason, it really made me a lot fonder of her. :-)
