Spuffykinkathon, Part 1

kellyhk,the kink request was for an angsty Spike-in-peril story with Spike and Dawn friendship, post-"Not Fade Away." There's one more requirement, which I won't spoil for other readers, because I'm going to be playing with that one a bit. Hopefully in the end it'll make sense.
...and this is maybe a little off the mark for the request, for which I apologize. Normally, a Spike-in-peril story would be so up my alley it's not even funny. But this is the story that came to mind. Angst, most definitely. Dawn POV.
(And, as a side note, for once I've finally managed to start a post-NFA story that's not part of my own WIP continuity.) ( Spuffykinkathon, Part 1 - Life Happens )
