Happy Birthday to toysdream!

Awake at Last

Well, here I am finally coming down off a caffeine overdose which has left me in a state of zombie-like exhaustion for days (and yes, I know how it affects me when I overdo, and yet I do keep doing it, because when it works, oh the energy...), our annual Halloween party has come and gone (for which I always end up doing a whirlwind of cooking) and now it's Toys's birthday, which is shaping up to be a pretty lazy day for both of us. He's probably going to go out and be all athletic and do a jog; I'll make apple muffins, since he's not a big fan of cakes. In general, a day off, in which I'll finally catch up to my e-mail and possibly figure out how to reassemble the living room and my desk area after having cleared if for the party, and go for a nice long walk. Nothing much to tell, really.

Although having the Halloween decorations still up is strangely cheery. I'll probably leave them up for awhile.
