Gifts!

Holiday spirit abounds - many, many thanks to romanyg, spikefan, and an anonymous sweetie who all gifted me with extra paid LJ time. I'm paid up through next November. This is amazing. You people are just the bestest. It makes me think of those eBay ads about how people are inherently good, how there's pleasure in just doing nice things for people. Gives me hope for the world, you know?

Haven't done a lick of shopping myself yet at all, even though all my family's on Eastern Time and will need mailings. Money's just tight enough where Toys and I have yet to go out and spree like we usually do, because he and I are alike in our love of buying presents. He's thinking to do a lot of custom artwork, and I'll probably become the Christmas Elf of Cookes and Brownies for most of who we know... family members can likely expect framed photographs of us. But then, at the last minute, we'll probably buy a lot of junk too, because of aforementioned love of buying presents. Ah, but hopefully, by the time the bills come due, the job I'm applying for today or one like it will have kicked in. I have a good feeling.
